What are the originals? Yours? Also, this one doesn't have the Matthew Robertson stamp (watermark?)... -B.

These two are photos of florescent bristol board being illuminated by black (UV) light. It's something that my camera club does every now and then, and the point of it is to create interesting highlights in glass and metal objects that we can then photograph.

For the second such event in a row, I've preferred to miss the point and photograph the background. I did the same thing in March, 2008, and put up a series of photos from that night as well.

I actually took the watermark off of this one because I didn't like the way it overlapped the green on the lower-left edge. I didn't think to create any watermarks that would use other corners when I created this one, so that's a task that lives comfortably half-way down my 'to do' list.

I have broken the links to hundreds and hundreds of photos, which will take a long time to repair. The workaround is to replace "photo.matthewpiers" in the link URL with "matthewpiers.smugmug". Awkward, but only temporary.

This is happening because I have revamped matthewpiers dot com. More of what I write and photograph will be going there, so check it out as well.
