Those who know me will have no doubt that this is exactly the photo that I wanted.
I have broken the links to hundreds and hundreds of photos, which will take a long time to repair. The workaround is to replace "photo.matthewpiers" in the link URL with "matthewpiers.smugmug". Awkward, but only temporary.

If I had to describe the essence of Robertson to someone, this would be my first exanple.
The twist of the big bird being the one in the background (for a change) is hilarious yet wonderful.
Thanks - this one grabbed me in a way that my other airshow photos haven't. And it really was the photo I was trying for, even though I needed a bit of lucky timing to get the jet where I did.
I've been feeling a little more like myself recently, which is reassuring since I'm not sure who else I'd be.
