I was quite surprised at how well my multimedia slideshow was received at my photography club. Considering that it was a selection of the images that I've been posting here for two months - and more of the same style - and only my second attempt at putting a show together, I was just pleased that I didn't embarrass myself too badly.

Incidentally, the show used copyrighted music, so it will never be seen here. On the other hand, if you want to look through the various typographic photos while listening to "Machine" by the Violent Femmes, it might be a similar experience.

Futura on White Plastic

One of my favourites.

I was using the clipping indicators in Lightroom to get the exposure right, and found that there's a trace of an earlier sign that's been recorded in the raw file. I've never seen that happen before - it's like playing a record backwards and actually finding a satanic message.

I still have more in this series, but I've been spending a lot of my blogging time building a slideshow out of them for my club's competition.

(That and researching a new camera system.)
