Seagull

Shot with my little P&S, this has had surprisingly little editing to get this look.
(Or perhaps it's not so surprising. All I did was desaturate and crop it.)

Keith will correctly guess that I really like the bird in the sky.

I'm so predictable.
Were it MY photo I would have cloned it out, but you name the photo after the almost invisible detail. I guess there wasn't much else you could call it.

You're absolutely right again. I accidentally posted this one without a title the first time, simply because I got tired of staring at the blank Blogger box and decided that I'd write the message and then come back to the title. I didn't.

Even the second time around, I had a hard time thinking of something to call this. There are already too many photos of the Royal Ontario Museum's addition in the world, and I still have a couple more that I want to post some day. The seagull turns out to be the unique feature of the photograph.

I have broken the links to hundreds and hundreds of photos, which will take a long time to repair. The workaround is to replace "photo.matthewpiers" in the link URL with "matthewpiers.smugmug". Awkward, but only temporary.

This is happening because I have revamped matthewpiers dot com. More of what I write and photograph will be going there, so check it out as well.
