Many hobbyist photographers are frustrated visual artists: painters who can't paint. There's no shame in that; Henri Cartier-Bresson was a painter first and last. Me, I'm a frustrated writer: I'd tell stories if I had any.
When there are words in my photographs, they will always be in focus.
By keeping the red buoy to starboard, mariners will be safely brought home.
