Taking a few minutes out from the morning commute.

I don't get the title.
Assume it's two street names?
If so, I have a small recommendation.
Unless one lives in a particular city, titles based on street names like this can be incomprehensible, as I have learned the hard way with my own efforts.
Further, when you have one that is a common word such as Queen, more confusion can arise.
Is the woman in the photo a queen? If so, what is a Spadina?
Adding "Ave" or "St" can clear everything up.

Nice street shot. You and Andy W. have inspired me to seek out more photo-ops of this type, and I rather enjoy it.
(Don't I sound impossibly pretentious today?)
Looking forward to your 'Straight Up' shot.

Queen and Spadina are both major streets in downtown Toronto.

I'm not sure what a Spadina is.

It is a local reference, but there's really only four or five people who will ever see the picture. Still, you do make a good point.

I have broken the links to hundreds and hundreds of photos, which will take a long time to repair. The workaround is to replace "photo.matthewpiers" in the link URL with "matthewpiers.smugmug". Awkward, but only temporary.

This is happening because I have revamped matthewpiers dot com. More of what I write and photograph will be going there, so check it out as well.
