#322, Tracks

There are certain things that I can't not take photos of.

I took a trip to the Leslie Street Spit last weekend, which is a landscape of reds, yellows, and browns. Naturally, I was using black and white film. It was still a very productive trip, and I burned three rolls (36 exposures total) in about four hours.

This was one of the last images that I took, but rest of the photos are going to have to wait. I have a big project planned for this weekend, and perhaps I'll be able to pull out some of the photos from Leslie once those are all done. They (and I) need some time.

#481, TD Centre

Winter doesn't end, it just becomes less frequent. The snow has melted and reappeared twice since this photo was taken just a couple of weeks ago.

#378, How Did I Get Here?

I also wonder about shoes that are left by the side of the road.

#482, Lock Bicycles #2

I'm pretty sure this is the same wheelbarrow, four and a half years later.

Mister Yogi

Looking through my older photos here, I was really struck by how much more adventurous I was in where I would go, the weather I would be out in, and the photos that I would take when I got there.

Coming Soon: Spring 2011

I'm ready for spring, but enjoyed the minor snowstorm that we had last weekend.

I have broken the links to hundreds and hundreds of photos, which will take a long time to repair. The workaround is to replace "photo.matthewpiers" in the link URL with "matthewpiers.smugmug". Awkward, but only temporary.

This is happening because I have revamped matthewpiers dot com. More of what I write and photograph will be going there, so check it out as well.
